Students intending to enter Ivy Tech Community College with an F-1 Student Visa or J-1 Visitor Visa must enroll in a degree or technical certificate program, have a stated major on the application, and are not eligible for Financial Aid. For additional information, please visit our website.

  • It is important that you are aware of the prerequisites for every Ivy Tech course. Having the knowledge necessary to succeed in your course(s) is assured by completing prerequisites. Please review the college catalog at IvyTech.edu/course-catalog to review the prerequisites for each course. 
  • Ivy Tech does not guarantee the transferability of courses to your home institution. Please talk with an advisor at your institution to make sure you are taking courses that will transfer. 
  • Ivy Tech does not offer Financial Aid for Guest Students.

Guest Student Courses
If taking a course face-to-face, you will be required to attend class in-person at the campus in which you are registered. If you prefer to take the course in the online format, you will be required to log into your student portal from your computer (internet connection required) to attend the course.
